Thambura

Thambura is played for Sruthi accuracy , It helps in enhancing the vocal and tonal quality. This Thambura is an inheritance and blessing to me from my grandfather late vidwan Sri K.Kodandapani which was gifted by Gadhwal Maharani for his singing in a concert at her palace.

Mridangam

Mridangam is a king of all Indian percussion instruments. Rythmic ( laya) percussion This is a ”Daiva Vaadyam” “Divine instrument” which was played by Lord Ganesha and Nandi. It involves lot of mathematics to calculate korvais and lessons.

Thalam

Thalam is an essential part in all forms of music. Thalam measures the tempo or the laya (rhythm). "Tha" stands for shiva and "La" stands for shakthi ,the combination of tha and la gives the term thalam which is shivashakthi swaroopa.
